"We are what we eat" -  This is our founding premise and a major modus vivendi for our founder, Carlos Gurrea.  

My Spanish mother enjoyed cooking.  She always started from scratch, using simple but good ingredients and I grew up learning to appreciate and savour good food. I never question the extra time or money involved in creating an excellent meal. BUT, good food needs to be ethically sourced, which has been a challenging road, along with delivering our products to you the customer, in good time and in good condition.  We try to use only small batch producers, in order to support communities in building their own economy while keeping traditional practices alive for the future.
